Coursework Introduction

For this piece of coursework I will be creating a front cover for a music magazine with a genre of my chioce. THis will be a two page spread also containing a contents page.The double page spread will contain relevant information or picture in terms of my target audience. I must also make a college magazine front cover, this will also contain a mock up contents page, I must then evaluate the chioces i have made to create this magazine.

For creating my magazine i will need to reserch in to a particular genre which i think i can represent for my magazine and also produce something which the target audience for the chosen genre who will be interested in the content, pictures or design.

Additional pieces for my coursework that I will create will be:

• Production schedule
• Venue release forms
• Risk assesment

These will be drafted:

• Front page mock up
• Contents mock up
• Double page spread
• Photoshop practices
• Mock shots

This will give me extra practice and get me used to creating my front cover.
